Mushroom Escape is moving. This will, unfortunately, necessitate some down time to facilitate this move. We hope the down time will be minimal, roughly twelve to fourteen hours, but we can not guarantee this. Escape will go down around 1 AM Eastern time on Wednesday, June twenty-eighth. We fervently hope we will be back up sometime Wednesday afternoon.
We want to thank you for your patience and understanding, and look forward to continue bringing you wonderful programing on Mushroom Escape. Thank you for listening to our station.
I know, I know! This is two weeks away, and if you're anything like me, it's hard to think past today, let alone two weeks ahead. But here's the good news! You don't actually have to think that far ahead, which is why I'm writing so early.
This week on Deep Dive we feature, through an encore show, the talents of American singer, song writer and instrumentalist Dan Fogelberg. We try to make love stay, claim longer than, and meet the leader of the band.
Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 6 AM in Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Simply demand, in a friendly way, that your SmartSpeaker of choice play Mushroom FM and the magic carpet of the internet will whisk you there in a trice.
So sorry I have not blogged for the past couple of weeks! I am happy to say things are calming down, a little, so I hope to be back in the voice track show, write blog routine once again! This week's show features musicians who belong to the LBGTQ+ community, (or, in a couple of cases, are true community allies, or wrote a song which is meaningful to many community members.) I am so glad these musicians have found the courage to be their authentic selves in this world.
Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you about this week's edition of Come by the Hills, which revisits an episode from last year: June 25, 2022. We've got some songs for National Indigenous Peoples' Day in Canada, some Me Music, and a lot more goodies.
it's pretty rare, occasions where you face blindness descrimination, and yet you have the upper hand, and are totally able to demand, and acquire accomodation, and successfully convey a positive message at the same time. But, it sure feels good when it happens. The Snowman's car buying experience, tonight on SnowWhiteFM. That and so much more, and the fun starts at 8PM eastern, on MushroomFM.com
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with nods to other decades and genres.
It's a 26-year musical window this week from 1959 to 1985 as I finish songs about fire, inspired by the wildfires that continue to burn across Canada that have affected people everywhere.
