After you've enjoyed the 7th anniversary edition of Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from the first half of the Rock and Roll era with nods to other decades and genres.
Way back on August 8, 2016, I wrote this:
"Exciting news! The Celts will soon be invading the home of the fun guys! For three hours every Sunday night, jigs, reels and balads will be the order of the day as I serve up the best in Celtic music from around the world. Not only will I be playing traditional favourites which defined the genre, but also new songs inspired by tradition which have changed it forever.
There will be lots of fun features for you to enjoy, interesting info about your favourite artists and groups, and of course plenty of room for your requests.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 4pm Saturday in NZ, 2pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End from 2007 and Alice in Wonderland from 1951.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is a 2007 American epic fantasy swashbuckler film directed by Gore Verbinski.
The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The Five Keys were undoubtedly one of the finest vocal groups of both the R&B and Rock n' Roll eras. They didn't score as many hits as say the Dominoes or the Clovers, but like The Orioles and The Ravens before them, they were highly influential to other vocal groups of the day.
This week, through an encore show, we enjoy the beautiful harmonies of American duo the Carpenters. We learn that it's gonna take some time this time, get close to you, and end up on top of the world.
Join me at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Ask that Smart Speaker buddy of yours to play Mushroom FM, and it will grant your wish very quickly.

Hello! Sara Hillis here with great news! Come by the Hills is coming to you live this week after many weeks of pre-recorded shows! IN fact, it's going to be so live that I have no idea exactly what we'll be playing yet. However, be sure that it'll be three hours of great Folk and Celtic music, and me, uh, live! What will happen? How exactly will the show play out? We won't know until it's on the air!

This week on Deep Dive, we enjoy the musical talents of American singer song writer John Denver. This is an encore programme, in fact the second programme I made for Mushroom FM. We enjoy fun on Grandma's feather bed, sing a song for Annie, and experience a rocky mountain high.

Hello! Sara Hillis here again to say that Come by the Hills is on Saturday at 2:00 PM Eastern, and the replay is on Tuesday at 5:00 AM Eastern, not 5:00 PM, as I accidentally wrote in my announcement for this week's show.
