Hello! Sara Hillis here to let you know what's on tap for the next couple of episodes of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic music show, here on Mushroom FM! This Sunday we begin a two-week look back at a couple of shows from the archives, not only because I happen to have two very busy weekends coming up, but also because we are approaching the show's tenth anniversary later in the summer, and I thought it might be nice to dig a little deeper into our past.

After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with nods to other decades and genres.
There will be lots of songs from those other decades and genres this week as I welcome in June with four songs, one appropriate for the month and three appropriate for the day The Early Years first airs this week, June 3, or the third of June.

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

This week on Deep Dive we feature the very enjoyable music of American singer Emmy-Lou Harris. We hear about the boxer, travel from Boulder to Birmingham, and meet a Tulsa queen.

Please join me for the programme. Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is Tuesday morning in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is Wednesday evening in Eastern Australia. It's easy! Simply tell that SmartSpeaker of yours to play Mushroom FM, and you will be there much faster than you can walk from Boulder to Birmingham.

Hello! Sara Hillis popping in early again this week because I'm so excited to tell you about this coming Sunday's edition of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic music show, on Mushroom FM! It's time once again for our annual tribute to Stan Rogers. I think of this show as the one that really put Come by the Hills on the map when I first did a version of it in 2017. It struck a chord with so many people that I decided to do it every year since. This will be the tenth year, and I hope you'll join me!
