After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
For several shows, you've heard me mention a songs about angels theme. It's ready to go and I'll begin it next week; but I thought I would remind you of its sister theme that I did in April 2023, devil songs or songs about devils. This isn't a replay.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 5pm Saturday in NZ, 2pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies The Ghost and the Darkness from 1996, Saw from 2004, and Toy Story of Terror from 2013.
The Ghost and the Darkness is a 1996 American historical
adventure horror film directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas.

The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

On the next edition of the Mosen Explosion, I’m paying tribute for the whole of the show to the legendary Kris Kristofferson, who died on Saturday aged 88.
Not only was Kris a gifted songwriter who wrote some beautiful poetry and could sing a bit, he was also a helicopter pilot, a Rhodes scholar, and a successful actor.
In the hour that we have available, we can merely scratch the surface in terms of the great music he composed and the legacy he has left. But it will surely be enough to whet your appetite and to encourage you to explore his music further.

This week on Deep Dive we enjoy the music of talented American rhythm and blues band the Pointer Sisters. We enjoy a slow hand, fire, and he's so shy.

Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which turns out to be 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Those pesky time zones. Just point your browser, SmartSpeaker or other listening device towards Mushroom FM and you'll find us. And once you are here stick around - we are a fun place to be.

This week, on SnowWhiteFM. The Snowgirl's crazy dream. ACHOO syndrome, it's even more than something to sneeze at. There's undeniable evidence of why the Snowman was not a successful stand-up commedian, much less a sit-down one. We'll play Name That Tune, and hear more songs with people's nbames as part of the title or lyricks. It's more fun than you can possibly shake a white cane at, so don't. Instead, come spend an easy groovin' saturday evening with the Snowman, and party down, starting at 7PM eastern, on MushroomFM.com

That subject should get your attention!

Meet the Fockers (sometimes known as Meet the Parents 2) is a 2004 American romantic comedy film directed by Jay Roach, and the sequel to the 2000 film, Meet the Parents.

I'm off on a mini vacation this weekend, so this means that I will not be doing a new episode of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic music show on Mushroom FM. However, if you tune in on Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern, or for the replay on Tuesday at 5:00 AM Eastern, you'll hear an episode originally broadcast on September 30, 2023. This was when the show was on Saturdays rather than on Sundays, so keep that in mind when you hear me talking about what's coming up next and such. I hope you'll enjoy this blast from the past, and I'll be back with you again live next weekend.
