Time goes by so slowly, and time can do so much. A week is a long time in politics. Time heals all wounds. Ah, time. It plays such a big role in our lives. And at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, it’s time, yet again, for another epic Mosen Explosion.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

Today on The Sara Hillis Show, as well as our usual mix of magic mushroom memories and mediocre musings from me, we're going to devote our back-to-back music mixes to novelty songs! Yes, on this and every Friday, we'll be dipping into the novelty vault for fun and interesting things which are guaranteed to make you laugh, or at least just scratch your head and say: "Now why on earth did they decide to do this one?" Today, we have some Spike Jones and some Little Jimmy Dickens in the first hour, and in the second hour, we're making a departure to do what I've always wanted to do.

The weekend is almost here, but before you can Basque in it, you must first endure another edition of the Smorgasbord with Jonathan Mosen.

On the Friday edition, we learn about a new way to share your location with others, even if they don’t use the same type of phone as you.

On yesterday’s show, I asked if you’d ever sent an accidental email or text to the wrong person. Listeners respond on today’s show.

We learn about the science and technology that makes summoning Siri possible, even without pressing the button.

If you tune into the Smorgasbord with me, Jonathan Modem, at 3 Eastern time, be that 3 AM in the morning, 3 PM in the afternoon, 3 AM in the afternoon, or 3 PM in the morning US Eastern time, you are going to be rewarded with an historic show of historic significant that will undoubtedly go down in history for being historic.

First, it’s the first ever Smorgasbord coming to you live from the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. I’ll be talking about that, and the overwhelming disappointment of the update if you install it in New Zealand.

Today in Canada, we learned of the death of one of our greatest poets and musicians, a man who has challenged politicians, changed people's hearts and whose music has been the sound-track of many of our lives. Gord Downie of the Canadian band called The Tragically Hip has died at the age of 53. He had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and his band embarked on a farewell tour last year which culminated in a huge concert in their home town of Kingston Ontario.

Yes, welcome again to the middle of the week! If you're finding it hard to get over that hump and need some amazing tunage and some--well--marginally interesting conversation to get you through, then look no further than The Sara Hillis Show! also, don't forget that it's only a day until another Thankful Thursday! It would be great to hear what you're thankful for. Email sara@mushroomfm.com or tweet with the Mushroom Fm hashtag, or of course you can always tweet me @sarahillismusic.

I’d love it if you can join me, Jonathan Mosen, at 3 AM and Pm Eastern, for the Smorgasbord.

On the Wednesday edition, Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, and why the name annoys the soup out of people around here.

Google now lets you more easily identify the pets in your photos, and they’re in trouble over calories…That’s Google, not the pets.

We talk social media behaviour, what 5G means for you, and hey, we’ll even play some of the best jolly music from the 50s to the 80s as well.

See you there.
