From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Basic Instinct from 1992 and Play Misty for Me from 1971.
Basic Instinct is a 1992 neo-noir erotic thriller film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Joe Eszterhas.
The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The pre-Rock n' Roll era is full of unsung performers who's style directly impacted those who came after. This week's "Juke In The Back" spotlight on Camille Howard is one such example. Her boogie woogie piano style was inventive, fluid and pure joy. It left a lasting impression on Ike Turner, Fats Domino and Professor Longhair.
This week on Deep Dive we feature the beautiful voice of Gilbert O'Sullivan. We meet Claire, learn about matrimony, and Ooh-Wakka-Doo-Wakka-Day.
Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 8 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 10 PM in Eastern Australia. Simply say to that SmartSpeaker of yours play Mushroom FM and you will be there in a jiffy.
Deep Dive, where we focus on one artist for one hour, can be heard exclusively on Mushroom FM, home of the fun guys.
And after you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis with her tribute to the Patron Saint of Wales, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's first forty years with nods to other decades and genres.
Well, that nasty spiked virus we know as COVID 19 has departed so I'm back this week with a new show.
Hello! Sara Hillis here to tell you about this week's episode of Come by the Hills! Dyn ni'n dathlu ddydd gwil Dewi Sant! Yes, I just wrote in Welsh (yn Cymraig) that we're celebrating St. David's Day, which was on March 1. I've got lots of Welsh folk songs, a few songs in English by Welsh artists, and of course you get to hear me attempting to speak Welsh, which is always very entertaining.
The show is not live this week due to potential power interruptions because of a rather major snow storm that's heading our way, but it is current, and it will be fun.

This week on Damo's All-Day Breakfast, I decided to try and kill two birds with one stone, metaphorically speaking of course. In what way, you may ask. Well, I came across a great recipe from cam the Camp Cook, for hotdogs with bacon, cheese, and beer caramelized onions.
The "Juke In The Back" focuses on the " soul that came before rock n' roll," the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The "Juke In The Back" is proud to shine the spotlight on one of the granddads of Rock n' Roll, Roy Milton. His group, The Solid Senders, was composed of top-notch musicians, including Camille Howard, who was one of the greatest boogie woogie pianists of all-time.
