On 26 May, The Beatles will be releasing new mixes of their iconic Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. It's one of the most iconic, influential albums of the 20th century, so understandably, there is huge excitement about the new mixes.
Today on the Richter Scale, we've got our hands on some of those mixes, and we're going to play them for you, almost a month ahead of their official release. A couple are from the remixed official album, others are out-takes that will be released as part of the deluxe edition.
If you're a Beatles fan, and who isn't, this is a show you definitely won't want to miss.
Richard will be interested in your thoughts after your first hearing of the new mixes, especially the official album tracks. Do you hear anything different? Is it sounding fresh, shiny and new, or should they have left well alone?
As well as this, Richard has two hours of music with a classic rock influence, with possible sonic departures depending on where you take the show with your tweets and emails.
The Richter Scale is right after the Sara Hillis Show, at 6 Pm Eastern time, that's 11 PM in the UK, only on Mushroom FM, where all the Beatle people are.
