When you hear the dying strains of Van Halen's Happy Trails signalling the end of The Mosen Explosion for another week, don't touch your PC, your mobile device or your internet radio and join me in The Early Years on Mushroom FM.
Hello, I'm Steve Cutway and my musical focus is the 50s and 60s.
New Year's Night 2017, I played the top songs of 1967, 50 years ago. Last week, I played the top songs of 1957, 60 years ago. This week, to end the month of January, I'll split the difference and go ahead five years to 1962, 55 years ago. There were 21 #1 songs as in 1967, coincidence, I'm sure; but they were still generally shorter than 1967. As well as the top songs of 1962, you'll hear an alternate take of the #100 song from that year.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, Sunday at 6 PM Eastern, immediately following the Mosen Explosion, with an encore presentation Wednesday morning at 7 AM Eastern, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
