begin a new rockumentary here on Mushroom FM. Having been in Britain for some time with our Beatles and British Invasion rocumentaries, we're going across the pond for an in-depth look at one of the most influential performers of the 20th century.
The Elvis Presley story was originally produced after extensive research in 1971. After Elvis's death in 1977, it was updated, and re-released. And it's that version that we'll be playing over the next seven weeks.
You'll hear the voices of key people in Elvis's life, and Elvis himself. You'll hear the story behind his remarkable rise, learn about his time in the army and meeting pricilla, all about his movies, and the events that led to his untimely death at the age of just 42.
It's timely that we feature this rockumentary now, since 16 August will be the 39th anniversary of Elvis's death.
Don't miss the Elvis Presley story, right after The Mosen Explosion at 6 PM Eastern on Sundays, repeated on Wednesday at 8 AM Eastern.
