I'd like to say I'm down with the cool kids and totally fixated with Pokemon Go. But I'm not, because it's inaccessible you see. To be honest,
even if it were accessible, I wouldn't be fixated with it on account of having a life, but hey, it's the principle of the thing, right?
Speaking of cool kids, Richard the cool banana, who is very keen to play Pokemon Go, is unable to, because of Android fragmentation. The processor in his phone isn't supported by the game. Meh, meh and triple meh. I include that last sentence on his behalf.
Even though I can't play the game, and wouldn't if I could, we could have easily filled every wacky news segment this week with stories about Pokemon Go. And I suspect it will feature prominently next time they do the Darwin awards.
I've restrained myself though, and we'll only have one Pokemon Go story...Well, maybe two...Or in fact...well you'll just have to tune in and see.
But there is one thing I am fixated with, providing you with another four hours of great music, conversation, interaction and fun that the Explosion's been famous for all these years. Tune in, and if the fancy takes you, help to shape the show via email, Twitter, and by leaving a message on our listener line, 701-801-3263.
If you've never tried the show before, well we rejoice in new listeners and in the listenership of our old friends too.
So I do hope I'll have the pleasure of your company, right after Dean's always fascinating Sunday Sofa Session at 2 Pm Eastern, 7 PM in the UK, 6 AM here in New Zealand. Only on Mushroom FM of course, where all the cool kids are.
