We have had a wonderful response to our special two-hour Mushroom FM tribute to Dolly Parton, and a number of listeners have asked us the same question: can we make the programme available on-demand, or offer it as a download?
We would love to, but unfortunately we can’t.
Because the programme contains a large number of Dolly’s recordings, the music licensing under which Mushroom FM operates allows us to broadcast the tribute as part of our regular stream, but does not permit us to make the complete programme available for on-demand listening or download.
But we do have some good news.
Due to popular demand, we are going to broadcast the tribute two more times, giving you another chance to hear this journey through Dolly Parton’s extraordinary life and career.
You can hear it:
Friday, August 28 at 4 PM Eastern
and
Sunday, August 30 at 3 AM Eastern
The two-hour special tells Dolly’s story through the music that made her one of the most loved and influential performers of all time. Along the way, we explore the stories behind many of her biggest songs, the remarkable career she built over more than six decades, and the philanthropy and generosity that became such an important part of her legacy.
If you missed the original broadcasts, or enjoyed the programme and would like to hear it again, these will be your next, and final, opportunities.
So set a reminder, tell a Dolly fan, and join us on Mushroom FM as we celebrate once more the remarkable life, music and legacy of Dolly Parton.
