Movie 1: Goldfinger (1964)
Goldfinger (1964) is a classic spy film and the third instalment in the James Bond series, widely regarded as one of the defining entries in the franchise.
The story follows British secret agent James Bond as he is assigned to investigate Auric Goldfinger, a wealthy and mysterious businessman with a dangerous
obsession with gold.
Bond’s mission takes him across international locations as he uncovers Goldfinger’s elaborate and audacious plan to infiltrate Fort Knox and contaminate
the United States gold reserve. As the stakes rise, Bond must rely on his wit, skill, and an array of ingenious gadgets to stop the scheme. Along the way,
he encounters memorable characters, including the capable and complex Pussy Galore and the silent but deadly Oddjob.
Directed by Guy Hamilton, the film blends action, humour, and suspense with stylish flair. Goldfinger helped establish many of the hallmarks of the Bond
