After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
1965 returns as the year in focus this week as I continue a survey of songs that did not make the top 100 of 1965, which chart I finished three weeks ago. Then I played 13 songs from January 1965 that didn't make the top 100 of the year including 6 #1s. I'll finish January with 11 more songs, then move through February and March, with 5 and 10 songs respectively, and finish in April, where I'll pick up the survey next week.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for more songs that did not make the top 100 of 1965, Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories, after The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for The Mosen explosion. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before The Mosen explosion, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
