After you've enjoyed The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The focus is on a single year for the next 3-4 weeks as I begin one of my favourite themes, a chart countdown from a specific year. This time, it's 1965, 60 years ago this year, and you'll hear the top 100 songs from that year as tabulated by Billboard. There will be lots of music you'll remember and perhaps some you won't.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories as I begin the countdown of the top 100 of 1965 on Billboard, after The Variety Vault with Paul Merrell, and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for The Mosen explosion. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before The Mosen explosion, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
