After you've enjoyed The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 4 PM, for the final time in that timeslot, with his brain exploders and great music, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
It's a narrow, 9-year window this week from 1956 to 1965 and the demons, ghouls, ghosts, mummies, spacemen, spacewomen and witches etc. come out to play as Friday is Halloween. There are Halloween songs in every decade of rock and pop music from the 1950s to today and they all couldn't possibly fit a 2-hour show.
The last time I did a Halloween songs show in 2021, I went backwards chronologically so I decided to reverse it for this year's show.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories playing long songs, after The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen, for his final time in that timeslot on a Wednesday, and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for a Mushroom FM Request stop during which you can have your say about what gets played. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before another Mushroom FM Request stop, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories. Next week, the Mosen explosion will replace those Mushroom FM Request Stops at 9 AM and PM Monday to Friday.
