After you've enjoyed The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 4 PM with his brain exploders and great music, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The music this week covers a 16-year span from 1960-76.
I said last week that I'd return to my long songs theme after almost two months this week but then I learned of the passing of Bobby Hart September 10 at the age of 86. I will remember him by playing all the songs that he and Tommy Boyce charted with and one that didn't, as well as songs they wrote for others, most notably the Monkees. I will return to my Long Songs theme in the last half-hour of the show. It will be an abbreviated part 13 but I expect to do a full part 14 next week.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM, where and when I will make musical and magical memories remembering Bobby Hart and playing four long songs, after The Mosen explosion with Jonathan Mosen and before Story Untold with PJ Noce. Then stay tuned for Your Favourite Blend with Nicki Keck. The Early Years will replay Friday morning at 7 AM, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and before Your Favourite Blend with Nicki Keck, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
