Hello! Sara Hillis here to fill you in on the next fantastic episode of Come by the Hills, the Folk and Celtic music show on Mushroom FM! I'll be going live again after last week's unexpected absence, and I'll have lots of work-related songs in honour of Labour Day, which is celebrated on the first Monday in September in both Canada and the United States. Also, it's the final week of the listener-suggested summer feature on Woody Guthrie's recordings from 1940 and 1941 in which we'll hear a song about the Los Angeles New Year's Flood. I hope you'll come along for the ride and hang out with me!
Catch Come by the Hills live from the 7th Floor on Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern, or check out the replay on Tuesday at 5:00 AM Eastern. Thanks for listening, and as always, enjoy!
