Movie 1: The Pianist (2002)
The Pianist is a harrowing and beautifully crafted historical drama based on the memoirs of Polish-Jewish pianist Władysław Szpilman, who survived the
Holocaust through a combination of talent, chance, and resilience. Adrien Brody stars in a haunting and Oscar-winning performance as Szpilman, a gifted
musician forced into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Warsaw.
Directed by Roman Polanski, a Holocaust survivor himself, the film brings an intimate and emotionally powerful perspective to one of the darkest periods
in history. With its haunting visuals, evocative score, and deeply human narrative, The Pianist is a moving tribute to the endurance of the human spirit
in the face of unimaginable adversity.

Movie 2: Saving Grace (2000)
Saving Grace is a delightful British comedy that blends charm, wit, and an unexpected dash of cannabis. Grace Trevethen, a recently widowed woman facing
financial ruin, discovers that her late husband has left her with a mountain of debt. To keep her stately home afloat, Grace teams up with her gardener
to grow marijuana in her greenhouse—with hilarious consequences.
Brenda Blethyn shines in the lead role, bringing warmth and charisma to this heart-warming tale of reinvention and community. With its quirky characters
and cheeky humour, Saving Grace is a feel-good film that proves it’s never too late to start over—even if it means bending a few laws along the way.
