After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
Again this week, the music is all from one year of that first quarter century of rock as I continue the theme I started five weeks ago, songs that didn't make the top 100 year-end chart of 1964. I'll pick it up in June where I finished last week's show and continue to August. And although 1964 is now 61 years ago rather than 60, I'll continue this theme next week as I have lots of 1964 songs yet to play that I think are worth hearing.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories remembering songs that didn't make the top 100 year-end chart of 1964, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring one hit wonders from 1974, followed by his #1 Music show, playing #1 songs on the Billboard hot 100, hot country and R&B charts this time of year from 1960-89. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
