After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The top 100 of 1964 concludes this week. I'll pick up the countdown at #20 and continue to #1. What will it be? It may not surprise you.
after the countdown, I'll wish happy birthday to one of our "special angels" who looked after us during our respite care after Nancy's accident in 2021. She reaches a milestone on Monday so I'll play the song that was #1 the day she was born. It had already been #1 for 12 weeks on her birthday and it would stay on the chart for 58 weeks!
I'll finish the show with some songs that didn't make the top 100 of 1964, which theme I'll continue next week.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories concluding the top 100 of 1964, celebrating the birthday of a "special angel", and playing songs that didn't make the top 100 of 1964, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring 1960s country one hit wonders, followed by his #1 Music show, playing #1 songs on the Billboard hot 100, hot country and R&B charts this time of year from 1960-89. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
