After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
The top 100 of 1964 continues this week with brief interruptions in both hours for a birthday celebration. My friend of more than 56 years, John, celebrates a milestone birthday tomorrow, the same one I celebrated in late October.
I'll pick up the countdown at #71 and continue to #43. I expect that this countdown will take the better part of two shows beyond this one by which time we'll be well into the Christmas season and I'll be able to play some of my favourite Christmas songs as I've done in the past.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories continuing counting down the top 100 of 1964 and celebrating a birthday, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring one hit wonders from 1975, followed by Dan Sweeney's #1 Music show, playing #1 songs on the Billboard hot 100, hot country and R&B charts this time of year from 1960-89. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
