After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
It's the long Thanksgiving Day weekend in Canada and I'll begin this week's show with a song that's associated with the holiday.
For several shows, you've heard me mention a songs about angels theme. It's finally here this week with listener suggested songs and songs I've thought of, primarily from 1939 to 1961 with version comparisons and same title different songs as recent as 1975.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly songs about angels for my current theme.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving and playing songs about angels, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring one hit wonders from 1973, followed by Dan Sweeney's #1 Music, playing #1 songs on the Billboard hot 100, hot country and R&B charts this time of year from 1960-89. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
