Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, a few things have come up and I will not be able to bring The Song Remembers When to you today. I will very much miss our time together, but look forward to being back next week. Since I will not be doing the show, you will have the chance to make requests using the system at mushroomfm.com. I hope you'll take advantage of this and play songs that make you remember when.
The theme next week is fall sports. In America, of course, this means American football. I'll play songs the marching band at the University of wisconsin-Madison played at games when I was in college. I'll also play a couple of songs having to do with my favorite pro football team, the Greenbay Packers. And, for good measure, I may play some songs I used for motivation when running on my treadmill to prepare for my high school fall sport of cross country.
What about all of you? Are there songs that remind you of fall sports? Memories you'd like to share. If so, please be in touch.
