After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
This week, I continue the top 600 songs of the 60s, the listener-generated survey that was originally broadcast on Sirius XM Radio's 60s on 6 channel in late 2019 and repeated in early 2020 just before the world went to Hell! Last week, I got to #265. I'll continue the countdown to #238.
But before that, I'll celebrate the birthday of the man who makes it possible for me to do this show every week, the owner and director of Mushroom FM, Jonathan Mosen, with one of, if not his favourite song.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories celebrating a birthday and continuing the countdown of the top 600 songs of the 60s, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring early 60s R&B one hit wonders, followed by his newest Mushroom FM show, Dan Sweeney's #1 Music. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
