After you've enjoyed Decades in HD with PJ Noce tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac, smart speaker or tablet and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from the first quarter century of Rock with occasional nods to other decades and genres.
On Monday, April 8 (this coming Monday), from 02:09 PM to 04:24 PM, The city in which I live, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, will experience an astronomical phenomenon that hasn't been experienced here since 1349 CE, a total eclipse of the sun. That won't happen again until 2399!
I'll play songs about all kinds of eclipses and the elements that are part of a solar eclipse, the moon, the sun and the earth, and how they're affected during an eclipse. Thanks to everyone who suggested songs for this week's show.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, for The Early Years, when I make musical and magical memories celebrating the total eclipse of the sun, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, after Decades in HD with PJ Noce and Before Snow White FM with The Snowman. Then stay tuned for Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders, this week featuring one hit wonders from 1965 followed by his newest Mushroom FM show, Dan Sweeney's #1 Music. The Early Years replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, after Deep dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories.
