Yes, I'm still very much alive, and have been bringing The Song Remembers When to all of you for the past few weeks. What I have not been doing, obviously, is creating blog entries for these past shows. I have no excuse, really, aside from the fact it has been a very busy summer in the Riccobono house, and, unfortunately, we're already beginning to prepare for the first day of school! But, I made time this evening to write to say the topic for The Song Remembers When this week is relationships. I was thinking of doing a show only about break ups, but that seemed a little boring. I especially knew I did not want to feature only songs about how horrible it is to be without the only true love you'll ever have in the world (although there are great songs about that very topic.) Luckily, there are also fantastic songs about how liberating it is to break up with someone, so I decided to include those. And then there are songs about other types of relationships. What kinds? You'll have to tune in and find out. The Song Remembers When comes to you every Sunday from 4-6 PM Eastern, or Thursday's from 5-7 AM Eastern. If you have ideas for the show, please contact me: melissa@mushroomfm.com or @Melissa@social.mushroomfm.com. You can listen in all of the usual ways: http://www.mushroomfm.com, any radio app on your Smart Phone, or on Alexa or Google. I look forward to your thoughts on the show!
