Thank you to everyone who was able to tune in to The Song Remembers When last Sunday! I appreciate hearing from you; creating this show is super fun for me, but it is truly all about the listeners. I want to help put smiles on faces and bring back memories. I love the interactions I receive. Please keep them coming my way! Incidentally, if you missed the show the first time, it will be replayed this Thursday from 5-7 am Eastern. I believe this is slightly better timing for many of you in other parts of the world! The theme for this week's show is music from movies. Is there a movie you saw on your first date with a song that brings back that memory? Was one of your first albums a movie sound track? Was there a movie you watched over and over on video and sang along with? Please let me know. I have quite a few songs on my playlist, but I would love to hear your requests and memories. Please contact me melissa@mushroomfm.com or @Melissa.social.mushroomfm.com. Finally, the theme for my show on April 9 will be, what else, Easter! Again, I have a playlist I'm beginning to build, but I would love your requests to help me fill in some gaps! Easter isn't super easy as holidays go. It's not as though there are tons of Easter carols floating around (though I do have some songs about Easter which were on a record from my childhood which I will certainly play.) Was there a song you listened to on your way to a relative's house one Easter? Is there a song you played when dying eggs as a kid. or with your kids? Any fun bunny songs I should play? Please let me know! I look forward to receiving your requests! Thanks for making The Song Remembers When great!
