Tuesday is Valentine’s Day, and following the success of last year’s show, I’m hosting a Valentine’s Day special for the Mosen Explosion on Mushroom FM. For this to be a special show, it relies on you.
I’m hoping you’ll not only tune in, but send me in advance a request for a love song you want me to play. It might just be a love song that appeals to you, or that brings back fond memories. Or you may want to dedicate it to someone special in your life, or someone who you wish were special in your life.
Flowers? Bah! What a cliché. A meal out? Good luck getting a table on Valentine’s Day, and it costs a bomb. But a request on a global Internet radio show? Now that’s special! You’ll get a special cuddle for thinking of that, oh yes you will! You’re welcome!
First, a really important note. The show is produced in advance, so you absolutely must have your request into me by Monday 13 February at 6 Pm US Eastern time, 11 PM in the UK. I’m very sorry, but I won’t be able to use any requests I get after this time.
There are three ways you can get a request to me.
First, you can email me. You can write the email down, or to add an even more personal touch, send an audio attachment recorded on your smartphone or computer. The email address, spelled out to avoid all the spammy spam botty bots, is Jonathan at MushroomFm.com.
Second, you can call your request into the listener line. The number, in the United States, is +18646066736.
And finally, you can send it to me on Mastodon by way of a toot to jonathan@social.MushroomFm.com. You can follow me there on Mastodon for all my Mushroom FM-related toots.
I look forward to spreading a little love and to receiving your requests.
The show itself will air on Tuesday at 2 AM and PM US Eastern time, 7 AM and PM in the UK. You can check the Mushroom FM schedule page to find out when that is where you are.
And of course, the Mosen Explosion is here for you every weekday at that time.
