There are sometimes advantages in having a time zone so far ahead of much of the world.
This morning at around 2 AM, I was one of the first to receive my Let It Be Super Deluxe set. This set contains the Let It Be album with fresh 2021 remixes produced by Giles Martin. It also contains some delightful and fascinating outtakes from the sessions, plus the first official release of the Get Back album mixed by Glyn Johns before the tapes were handed over to Phil Spector.
I'll be devoting Friday's edition of the Mosen Explosion to this treasure trove of material and talking about what was going on when these recordings were made.
You have two chances to catch the show, at 2 AM and then again at 2 PM Eastern on Friday. That's 7 Am and PM in the UK, 7 PM and AM in New Zealand. To find out when it's on in your time zone, check out the Mushroom FM schedule page.
See you soon for the Mosen Explosion Let it Be special.
