On Mushroom Escape on Sunday starting at Midnight Eastern and repeated at 4, 8, 12, 4 and 8, I’m back with a fresh edition of Small World, the kids’ programme for the whole family. And oh my word, what a giant edition we have for you this week. We have giants that are selfish, giants that aren’t very smart, and of course if we’re going to be telling giant stories, well we have to tell the story about the giant at the top of that bean stalk!
Not all four-legged animals are our friends, but this week we’ll feature some that are. Can you guess which ones you’ll hear about?
There’s a story about a bull, and I say this because I’m not so sure a bull is a four-legged animal we all like. But if you have a pet bull you’re fond of, tickles his ears from me and tell him to listen to Small World because he’ll like this story.
A listener has requested a story about our old friend Sparky that you don’t hear very often.
Depending on where you are in the world, you may think that the kiwi is a fruit. Actually, the kiwi is a bird from New Zealand that can’t fly. This week, we’ll tell you the story of how he lost his wings.
Playing a triangle is fun! And it could well help you go places, and your dog too come to that.
And of course we have part three of our exciting fantasy story, the 13 Clocks.
There’s fun to be had for kids young and old, so do join me, Jonathan Mosen, on Mushroom Escape this and every Sunday at 12, 4 and 8 AM and PM Eastern time. Yes, you have six chances to hear it. You can ask your smart thing to play Mushroom Escape, find us in all your radio apps, or listen on the website at http://Mushroomfm.com/escape, where you’ll see the schedule in your time zone, so you know when things are on where you are. Why not tell all the kids in your life, both young and young at heart?
See you soon for Small World.
