We have had such an amazing response to our first two shows in this new series of Small World, that it sent all the important people into an important conference! And at the important conference, the important people had an important conversation. Then they made an important decision that having a kids’ programme for the whole family was so important, and that it was important that we listen when people are crying out for more, so it was considered important that Small World now run for not one hour, but two! Holy jumping jellyfish! Now we have twice the amount of time to bring you plenty of fun songs and stories! And it starts this very Sunday! That’s important to know. We start at the same time, but just go another hour longer.
So, what do we have in store for you in this two-hour edition? Since we have two hours, we are such a big show that we have room for two elephants! Whether they have ever met or not, who knows, but they both pride themselves on their trumpeting.
It will be American Independence Day when we do the next show, and in honour of that, we’ll hear about an American pioneer who made a difference with tiny apple seeds. And if those trees grow big and strong, perhaps they will produce big, huge, enormous, juicy, golden apples, which could give Diana a bit of trouble.
If you listen carefully when you’re on the train, sometimes you might hear an announcement that tells people about the stop coming up. But what if the actual train could actually talk? We’ll meet a little boy who swears that trains talk to him.
We’ll meet a little mouse, and a fantastic fox. In fact, now that we have two whole hours for Small World, we can do some stories in multiple parts. So be sure to join us for part one of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox.
There’s fun to be had for kids young and old, so do join me, Jonathan Mosen, on Mushroom Escape this and every Sunday at 12, 4 and 8 AM and PM Eastern time. Yes, you have six chances to hear it. You can ask your smart thing to play Mushroom Escape, find us in all your radio apps, or listen on the website at http://Mushroomfm.com/escape, where you’ll see the schedule in your time zone, so you know when things are on where you are.
See you soon for Small World.
