Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier opinion show, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered and all your opinions get heard, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's a virtual party this week and you're invited. 50 years ago tomorrow, Nancy and I were married. It doesn't seem possible.
With one exception, all of the music this week is from the first quarter century of rock and more or less appropriate to the occasion.
A long-time listener and even longer-time friend who has contributed several themes to The Early Years and his wife put together an audio anniversary greeting that blew me away. They also reached out to other listeners and mutual friends who did the same thing. I'll share those greetings along with a request that some might consider 'dodgy' for a wedding anniversary celebration show. But parties are meant to be fun and we'll only celebrate this anniversary once!
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00 (by which time Nancy and I will have been married for more than 50 years because our wedding took place at 02:30 PM), after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
