Affter you've enjoyed Mosen At Large, Mushroom FM's premier opinion show, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your questions get answered and all your opinions get heard, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's another truly early years show this week as I pay tribute to a pop and rock music pioneer, Jimmie Rodgers, who died January 18 at the age of 87. His music spanned ten years from 1957-67. I know that his music was not everybody's cup of tea but I am a fan and his contribution to the early pop and rock genres deserves to be acknowledged.
You can contact me any time by email at steve at mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00, when I remember Jimmie Rodgers, after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed with Anthony Horvath, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
