Affter you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's tech magazine show, Mosen At Large, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your tech questions get answered, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's an entire 60s show this week. In hour 1, I'll finish my countdown of the top 100 songs of 1960, 60 years ago! which is hard for me to fathom. Last week, you heard the songs from #44 to #16. This week, you'll hear the songs from #15 to #1. What will be #1? Tune in and find out.
In hour 2, I'll pay tribute to another artist we lost August 6, Wayne Fontana, who died of Cancer at the age of 74. Like Charlie Daniels whom I remembered several weeks ago, Wayne Fontana shares my birthday. Next week, I'll pay tribute to Trini Lopez, whom we lost August 11 as the result of complications arising from COVID-19. He was 83. I expect to begin the countdown of the top 100 of 1970 next week as well.
