Affter you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's tech magazine show, Mosen At Large, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, during which I hope all your tech questions get answered, don't touch that dial and join me in The Early Years where and when you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
There are definite nods to other decades this week, the 40s and the 80s, as well as a tribute to a rock and country legend we lost last Monday, Charlie Daniels, who, it turns out, was born the same day I was, but 13 years before me.
After that, I'll return to my continuing theme that I've called "Nancy's Theme", songs about days of the week (because she suggested and developed it), that's been on a two-week hiatus. I'll pick it up where I left off three weeks ago with songs about the weekend and move to songs about Saturday, of which there are a lot; so I'll finish this theme next week.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly songs about days of the week.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00 PM, for my tribute to Charlie Daniels and more songs about days of the week, after Mosen At Large and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after Deep Dive with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
