Kia ora koutou Mosen At Largers. As always I’ve been enjoying your contributions coming in ahead of this weekend’s show and am looking forward to putting the show together.
If you like the podcast, I’m not asking for money, but I would be very grateful for the donation of just a few seconds of your time. A show like this takes a lot of time to produce, and because it caters to a niche audience, the blind community, word of mouth can help spread the word so much. If you think it’s something you feel happy recommending, please do spread the word to others in whatever way you feel comfortable. I appreciate that a lot.
If you’re on Twitter, I’ve made it really easy for you to send out a tweet recommending the most recent episode. Just click the below link and you’ll be taken to Twitter’s website with a tweet in the edit field. Easy, eh? Thanks in advance if you do this.

Speaking of Twitter, guess what guess what? Mosen At Large now has its own Twitter account! Dude! If you were previously following the old Mosen Consulting Twitter account, you’ve been migrated automatically. If not, follow @MosenAtLarge on Twitter or just choose this link to visit the Mosen At Large Twitter page. http://twitter.com/MosenAtLarge.
We are also on Facebook, but I use it as little as possible for ethical reasons. Twitter is another matter. I’m very active there and if you follow our Twitter account you’ll get some audio extras, sneak peeks about the podcast, news items of interest and some great conversation.
Right! So what’s in store this weekend? The big feature is that for reasons explained in previous episodes, we packed up the Sony TV we’ve had at Mosen Towers for a month, took it to the store, and came back with something that is working out so much better. It’s a Samsung TU8500, one of the new 2020 smart TVs from Samsung. The accessibility is almost unbelievable, the feature set comprehensive, and I think you’re really going to enjoy the extensive review I have for you, recorded professionally using the Zoom F6.
We have some superb listener contributions this week, thanks to everyone who takes the time to make this show what it is. More feedback is coming in on what should be in iOS 14, we look at consuming certain types of content on a PC rather than a smartphone, a listener who is part of a clinical trial to get his sight restores tells us why he’s doing it, and if you have an Apple Watch we want to know what apps you put in your dock.
There is so much more. Remember, the podcast version of Mosen At Large is abridged. To hear the full version, tune into when I record it live, on Mushroom FM at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK on Saturday, that’s Sunday at 6 AM in New Zealand.
To contribute, send an email with an audio attachment or just written down to jonathan at MushroomFM.com, or call the listener line, and yes I’ll actually get the number right this week, +18646066736.
See you soon for Mosen At Large, and hopefully, on Twitter too.
