Affter you've enjoyed Mushroom FM's new premier magazine show, Mosen At Large tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00 PM, don't touch that dial and join me in The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Five decades and other musical genres are represented musically this week as I continue the theme that I started two weeks ago called "Nancy's Theme" because it was suggested and mostly researched by my wife of 49 years, Nancy, If you've been with me for the past two shows, you know what it is, songs about days of the week.
I finished songs about Sunday last week but a listener suggested another one which you'll hear this week. Then I'll continue with Monday including a couple of listener requests, one as a result of my final song last week.
But before I do any of that, I'll pay tribute to an historic event that took place 76 years ago tomorrow, June 6, 1944, D-Day.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly songs about days of the week; and anything else as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow afternoon at 05:00 PM, for more songs about days of the week, after The Mosen Explosion and before Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM after "Deep Dive" with Graeme Innes and before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
