in the spirit of the idea that, part of maintining a state of good mental health in the face of stress, is to keep a sense of humor, and that a positive disposition, and a hopeful heart are keys to maintaining an effective immune system, we engage in a little tasteful corona humor this week on SnowWhiteFM.
You can take about so much dour solemnity, and apocolyptic projection, before you have just had enough, and your hopeful spirit starts to rebel.
I guess you could say, that's what happened to us this week. And we're starting to feel like we are about to turn the corner.
We're talking about the various amusing ways people have found for coping with the social isolation, and lack of outside activity.
Steve will be here in the first hour this week. And, you'll discover, if you didn't already know, why Steve never had a future in standUp comedy. But then, he never said he did.
Plus, we'll visit a 79 year old Neil Diamond, hold up in his apartment, sheltering against the virus, just like you and I are, giving us a friendly word of encouragement, playing his acoustical guitar for us, and singing a modified rendition of one of his most famous hits.
All that, plus our usual array of features.
We'll review the weather around the u.s, get the Snowman's always quirky take on the historical events that took place on April 18, and have a cup of coffee and candid conversation with Ed Potter.
That plus the Snowman's pick of the best music of the 60's, 70's and early 80's, and a whole lot more.
It's a great way to spend saturday night. And really, with all that happening, there is just no reason why you and I should spend saturday night by ourselves.
So, lets make it a date.
Remember, there's no man, like the SnowMan, for brightening your satuday night.
Come Join the snowmanm for SnowWhiteFM, Saturdays starting at 8PM eastern on the good old Mushroom.
