And after The Mosen Explosion comes to an end this afternoon, join me for The Early Years where you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's another all-new show of "jaw-dropping Songs" this week.
What are "jaw-dropping songs"? As defined by the regular listener who suggested the theme, jaw-dropping songs are songs that made you stop and listen the first time you heard them, whether you ultimately liked them or not; or songs that made you say, "what the frig!" (Or perhaps something stronger!)
Ten listeners sent me lists of their jaw-dropping songs and they represent quite a musical variety.
This week, you'll hear music from four decades, some of which might well turn out to be jaw-dropping songs for you. (One suggested by the tenth listener surely will be.)
You can contact me any time by email at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows; and anything else you want to share as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for still more jaw-dropping songs (you say it, we play it), this afternoon at my new time, 05:00 PM (I'm still getting used to that), after "The Mosen explosion" and before "Dan Sweeney's One Hit Wonders". The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
