Hey! Sara Hillis here on a very hectic Sunday to tell you that despite the change of much of North America to Daylight Saving Time this weekend, Come by the Hills will still go on as scheduled, though an hour earlier if you're listening in every other part of the world which has sensibly kept the Daylight change till the first Sunday in April. This March thing is just silly! I remember looking forward to that magical first Sunday in April with great anticipation! It was a simpler time, a time when the change to Daylight time really meant that Spring was well on its way! Now, it just seems premature and ridiculous that it should happen in the beginning of March.
But I digress. As I said, this has been a hectic Sunday and I now find that I have little or no energy to plan or execute our usual three hours of fantastic Celtic and folk music this evening. however, as a prelude to our St. Patrick's Day celebrations next week, I have decided to present an encore presentation of our Loreena McKennitt tribute show we did back in November of 2019 upon the occasion of her announcement that she has effectively retired from performing and recording for the foreseeable future to focus on other pursuits. It was our first live episode for some time, and it was very enjoyable for me to produce.
So, have fun with this encore presentation and I'll be back with you next week for our usual St. Patrick's Day fun!
Catch Come by the Hills tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern, or check out the replay on Friday at 4:00 AM Eastern, 8:00 AM in the UK and Ireland! There's also an archive for on-demand listening at http://www.mushroomfm.com/sarahillis. Enjoy!
