join me for The Early Years where you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
This week, it's part 8 of my mammoth, multi-part, listener-suggested theme begun Nov. 2, 2019, "Seconds" (the songs not the time interval). If an artist's first song reached #1, what did their second song do? As you'll hear, some did well and others didn't and you may hear some songs you haven't heard in a long time if ever, and at least one you probably won't want to hear ever again!
I'll pick up the theme in January 1972 where I left off three weeks ago and continue to June 1976. I'll get to the end of what I consider to be Rock and Roll's Golden Age, its first quarter century, 1979, next week.
You can contact me any time by email at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows; and anything else you want to talk about as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for more "Seconds", tonight at 06:00 PM, before Snow White FM. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before a Mushroom FM Request stop while Anthony Unleashed enjoys a vacation, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
