Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
We've all done something foolish in our lives, right friends? This week, I'm continuing my celebration of that fact with classic "fool" songs about the many ways that we might be foolish, fooled or fools.
This theme was suggested and inspired by my long-time listener and friend, Denis, in Winnipeg, Manitoba; and it affords me an opportunity to play lots of version comparisons and same title different songs. You will know many of these songs but possibly not all; and there are so many that there will be at least two more shows in the future.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly school songs for next week's show and fool songs for part 3 of this theme. But anything else as well.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tonight at 06:00 PM, for the continuation of a listener-suggested and inspired theme, classic "fool" songs, before Snow White FM. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
