Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's a narrow, 11-year window into the first quarter century of rock this week as I present "Pre-Beatles Foreign Hits", songs by artists from outside North America that charted in North America. Countries represented include Austria, Australia, Denmark, Germany and the UK. This theme was suggested by my long-time listener and even longer friend, Hank in Ottawa, who was also responsible for the Musical Numbers series I did earlier this year.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows, particularly moon songs for next week's show as it will take place 50 years to the day that man first landed on the moon.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, tomorrow evening at 06:00 PM, for Pre-Beatles Foreign Hits, after The Mosen Explosion and before Snow White FM. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
And be sure to stay tuned after Snow White FM for "the Depths" with Bob Canish.
Home of the Fun Guys!
