Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
It's the conclusion of the top 100 of 1969 begun four weeks ago to celebrate Mushroom FM's founder and owner, Jonathan Mosen's 50th birthday. Tune in to find out what the #1 song for the year was.
After the countdown concludes, which it will before the end of the show, I will pay tribute to two friends, one celebrating a milestone birthday on Friday, and one receiving an Honourary Doctor of Laws degree from Queen's the same day. Then I'll pay tribute to Doris Day, whom we lost last Monday at the age of 97! We should all be as lucky to live so long.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, as I conclude the top 100 of 1969 and pay tribute to two friends and a great actor/performer, tonight at 06:00 PM, after an archive edition of the Mosen Explosion and before Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
