Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades including music from before the rock era.
This week, it's the 8th and final part of my musical numbers series - songs with numbers in their titles and groups with numbers in their names. I finished groups with the number 4 in their names last week and I'll finish song titles and group names containing very high numbers. Can you guess what the highest number will be? I thought I'd reached it last week but hadn't. You'll just have to tune in and find out.
Next week, to celebrate Jonathan Mosen's 50th birthday, I'll begin the countdown of the topp 100 songs of 1969, a series I expect to take about four weeks.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show and suggestions for future shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for the finale of musical numbers, songs with numbers in their titles and groups with numbers in their names, tonight at 06:00 PM, after Jonathan and before Sara. The show replays Wednesday morning at 07:00 AM, before Anthony Unleashed, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
