It's one of many traditions around here at Mushroom FM: Bruce Toews and his Christmas Novelty Special. This year, the special is bigger and better than ever, with all your favorites plus a few new songs that Bruce hasn't played before. What kind of awful things have happened to Santa as he's been trying to make his rounds? What do Yogi Yorgessen, Tom Lehrer, Ray Stevens, and Cledus T. Judd have to say on the subject of the season? All these questions and many more will be dealt with, if not actually answered, on this year's Christmas special. Bruce has his own response to the "Baby It's Cold Outside" controversy, he plays Dominic the Donkey without complaint, and he tells us about the first Christmas he can remember. And, of course, there's much, much more. The show runs tonight, the 22nd, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, right here on Mushroom FM. If you can't catch it tonight, wind up Christmas Day with Bruce as the show repeats on the 25th at 8:00 PM.
The show is not live this year, but you can always reach Bruce by e-mail at bruce at mushroomfm dot com. Or chat with other listeners using the #MushroomFM hashtag on Twitter. It's a great way to interact and even make new friends.
So please join Bruce, either on the 22nd at 4:00 PM Eastern or on the 25th at 8:00 PM Eastern, for the Bruce Toews Christmas Novelty Special, here on the Home of the Fun Guys, Mushroom FM!
