Wake up with The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades including music from before the rock era.
This is the one day each year that I get to produce a special hour for my Wednesday morning audience because my first hour Sunday night was pre-empted by the final hour of the Mushroom FM annual Christmas Countdown.
It's a seasonal celebration without any Christmas music. It's Winter in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere (where I'd like to be) so you'll hear songs about both seasons. Then stay tuned in hour 2 for "A Christmas Gift For You", the story of the making of what many musicologists consider to be the first complete Rock and Roll Christmas album which was produced by Phil Spector.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show, requests, particularly for Christmas music for next Sunday's show, and suggestions for future shows.
So wake up with me, Steve Cutway, in The Early Years, for seasonal songs and "A Christmas Gift For You", tomorrow at 7 AM. Eastern Time, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
