Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from the 50s and 60s with an occasional nod to other decades, including music from before the rock era which is generally accepted as starting in 1955.
It's all 60s again this week as I continue my survey of Canadian popular music that I started three weeks ago on Canada Day. This week is the penultimate part as I pick up the survey where I left off last week in 1967 and continue into 1968. Many of these songs will be familiar and you may not know that the artists are Canadian. Included will be a number of twin spins, a tribute by one artist to another and an interview with the tributed artist. I'll finish the survey through 1968-69 next week with a few extras throne in if time permits.
You can contact me at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments and suggestions for future shows, including suggestions for Canadian songs from 1968-69 for next week's show and jaw-dropping songs for subsequent shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway for the best music from the 60s (this week it's all Canadian) on The Early Years, tonight at 6 PM Eastern Time, after Jonathan and before Sara. If you miss the show tonight, catch its replay Wednesday morning at 7 AM Eastern Time, on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of musical mushroom memories!
