Join me for The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best variety of music from the 50s and 60s with an occasional nod to other decades, including music from before the rock era which is generally accepted as starting in 1955.
It's all 60s this week as I continue my survey of Canadian popular music that I started last week when you heard lots of music from the 50s and early 60s. This week, I pick up the survey where I left off in 1961 and continue until 1965. Many of these songs will be familiar and you may not know that the artists are Canadian. Included will be a number of twin spins and a tripple play about our national passtime, hockey. I'll continue the survey through the rest of the 60s next week.
You can contact me at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments and suggestions for future shows, including suggestions for Canadian songs from the 60s for next week's show and jaw-dropping songs for subsequent shows.
So join me, Steve Cutway for the best music from the 60s (this week it's all Canadian) on The Early Years, tonight at 6 PM Eastern Time, after Jonathan and before Sara. If you miss the show tonight, catch its replay Wednesday morning at 7 AM Eastern Time, on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of musical mushroom memories!
