Yes, I said I'd be back, and I am. It's time once again for another trip through the folky favourites on Come by the Hills, the Celtic Music Show! The usual features are back, and we've got a preview of Loreena McKennitt's new album which is called Lost Souls, and is due out on may 11. I'd like to say that I have an in with the artist and that's how I got this new song, but alas no. I simply pre-ordered the album on iTunes. We will play the entire album when it comes out, but we'll have a taste of it tonight and perhaps over subsequent weeks if more songs become available.
We've got a folky cover of a Beatles tune, a modern take on a traditional folk song, and generally very interesting and fun music as always.
So, catch the show tonight after Steve and The Early Years, or check it out on Friday morning after Jonathan and The Daily Fibre!
